Mahavan is a small pilgrim town located 11 km from Mathura, on the left bank of Yamuna, in Uttar Pradesh. Chaurasi Khamba


he word "chaurasi " in Hindi means eighty four. This palace has the distinction for housing 84 pillars that form part of the interiors. This exclusive palace belongs to Nanda, foster father of Krishna. You will see that the structure's architecture has been influenced from Buddhist style. During his reign, the palace was renovated by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb who reshaped it as a mosque.








Raskhan Shrine


Raskhan was a famous poet who was both a Muslim and follower of Lord Krishna. His real name was Sayyad Ibrahim and is known to have lived in Amroha in India. In his early years, he became a follower of Lord Krishna and learned the religion from Goswami Vitthalnath and began living in Gokul and spent his whole life there.
